ACCA Global - Introduction , entry route and scope

What is ACCA Global ? 

 ACCA is  abbreviation of  " Association of Chartered Certified Accountants".ACCA is a leading world wide  accountancy body and known as ACCA Global . So 
It mean,s it,s degree is recognized internationally in 180 plus countries.ACCA  have an  unrivaled  global network of members , students , colleges and of top Approved  Employers .

*Other general knowledge about ACCA is given below :

-There are total 14 papers in ACCA and students are required to complete these Papers within 7 years. 

-The passing marks for all papers from F1-F9 and P1-P7 are 50%. In ACCA , students can sit for  exams  maximum of 4 manual papers. 

-Computer based exams( CBE,s) for knowledge level (F1-F3)are conducted throughout the year. The   manual papers are conducted in every June and December of a year. 

-After completion of ACCA you will known as Affiliate .If u have completed your article ship of three years you will known as qualified  or member of ACCA.   

What is ACCA Entry Route ?

 

* Minimum Entry Requirements:

 

- GCE 'A' Levels 2 passes and 3 passes at GCSE/GCE 'O' Levels in 5 separate subjects, including English and Mathematics .  -American Higher School Certificate with at least overall 50% marks.

- Age should be 22 years to get directly registered with ACCA .

* Graduate Entry Route :

Graduation e.g - B.Com, BA, BSc Degree from a recognized University

 * FIA Qualification :

No academic qualification is required to do FIA . You should be of 16 years old to get registered for FIA .

 

How to Become ACCA Qualified? 

 

*After completion of 14 papers of ACCA you will known as Affiliate .If u have completed your articleship of three years you will known as ACCA qualified  or memeber of ACCA.
